As December 25th approaches, it’s nearly time for us to unwind and enjoy a time of celebration. While the lead up to the event can be stressful, we often forget to appreciate and be grateful for all that we have.
Paying attention to the special things in life gives you the power to change your perspective and enhance your enjoyment over this festive season, so lets delve into the 10 things to be thankful for.
How many times have you dreaded going to an event way before it should even be on your agenda? Getting yourself flustered because deep down you don’t want to go. Maybe you’ll have to face people you don’t like, you know you need to watch your spending habits and you’d rather just simply stay indoors- But wait, you can’t let your “bestie” down right? and Aunt Sarah would be devastated if you didn’t show up, so its probably best to “show your face” even if it’s just for an hour. But WHY?
Want to start meditating? Can’t quite work out how to start or what you need to do? – There are a load of myths and misconceptions around meditation that can make it seem too complicated and prevents a lot of people from actually trying, although, once I uncovered these beliefs it became a whole lot easier to understand and meditation is now something I couldn’t live without.
