Are you prone to holding onto emotional pain/grudges? Carrying past negative emotions can be highly toxic to our mental wellbeing. We can all put on a front and act perfectly fine, but what’s going on inside is what truly matters.
I always thought the “right” way to deal with negative emotions was to mask them over with positive affirmations or thoughts, and even though that can help in the moment, quite often this is just a temporary fix/disguise because sooner or later our true feelings will arise again. Recently though, I discovered how meditation can help with healing emotional pain and why it is vital to address these underlying issues.
Life is a cycle, we go through ups and we go through downs. Sometimes the downs can seem so overwhelming that we damn the universe for their unexpected and brutal appearances. Why do we deserve this? What have we done wrong?
Just before Christmas our family van (used for my Dad’s self-employment) gave up on us, this meant that he was unable to attend jobs which our family heavily relied on for income and made us financially scarce for the December month! Was this time to ask the universe for help?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope you enjoyed your festive season and managed to remain thankful! My week consisted of resting, cherishing the company of loved ones and reflecting on my progress throughout 2017. If someone told me a year ago today that I’d leave my 9-5 job to start my own blogging career I would have laughed in their face!
While I am proud to have achieved soo much both physically and spiritually, It’s a new year and there is always room for improvement.
Joy, love, peace and forgiveness are all classed as “High Vibrational” feelings and we all know by now that our inner feelings create our outer experiences. So if we want to attract an abundant life, then we’ve got to remain somewhat “High” right?!
( Okay, maybe not “high, high” I probably could’ve phrased that differently!) but feeling good and expressing more positivity is essential if we want to start attracting and living an abundant life, say goodbye to the days of wallowing in low vibe feelings/thoughts because they are ultimately keeping your life at one level only, and that sucks!
