Our thoughts reflect our reality, therefore the thoughts we programme into our mind simultaneously creates our outer experiences.
If we hold limiting/negative beliefs then what we experience in life reflects as limiting and negative experiences. However, positive based thoughts (also known as affirmations) play a vital role in creating positive experiences. Slightly confused? Let me break it down:
Ever thought about a certain song and then suddenly hear it on the radio? Or, dreamt/thought about a long lost friend and then bump into them miraculously not long after? I know I sure have. Most people put this down to coincidence, but today I’m revealing the idea that there are no coincidences in life and this type of synchronicity holds a hidden message just for YOU.
I have always found coincidences fascinating! Deep down I wondered if there was more to these situations than what meets the eye, and sure enough by researching and looking into my own personal experiences I discovered that there was!
As I sit here, trying to work out why my website is having technical issues, I realised that I’ve allowed fear to overtake my mindset. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in negative thoughts and emotions, and quite often we don’t even realise its happening! But acknowledging that you’ve gone into fear-based thinking is enough to start leaning towards love focused intentions and ultimately changing the circumstances in your life.
Fear is the stem of a wide range of emotions and can present itself as feelings of lack, failure, worry, anxiety and not being in control. Fear clouds our truest potential and leads us down a path of self-doubt. In order to overcome fear it’s vital to recognise that when fear is present we block the universal flow of “Love”, which in return disconnects us from the divine energy where solutions or better opportunities present themselves to us! So how do we stop this blockage and start choosing love over fear?
Are you prone to holding onto emotional pain/grudges? Carrying past negative emotions can be highly toxic to our mental wellbeing. We can all put on a front and act perfectly fine, but what’s going on inside is what truly matters.
I always thought the “right” way to deal with negative emotions was to mask them over with positive affirmations or thoughts, and even though that can help in the moment, quite often this is just a temporary fix/disguise because sooner or later our true feelings will arise again. Recently though, I discovered how meditation can help with healing emotional pain and why it is vital to address these underlying issues.
